Local fisherman Pete Miles opened Storm in October 1999 and his aim remains the same today as it was then - to put the finest quality fresh produce on the table.

Passionate about good, honest food - Pete makes use of the abundance of fresh, sustainable produce that Dorset and its coastline has to offer. He is a great advocate of supporting our local growers and producers. All of our dishes are sourced as locally as possible, and prepared on the premises daily. 

Frustrated with so many restaurants selling the idea of fresh, local food and so few actually delivering, Pete wanted to create a restaurant where he fed his patrons as he would his family - good, honest food.

Our menu may be small but we can guarantee its provenance and freshness!
